About Us

Our Story

Dignity Kare grew out of a simple conviction: that every person deserves coordinated, compassionate care, regardless of their circumstances. Through years of work in community-based care, our founder saw firsthand the barriers Medi-Cal beneficiaries face — housing instability, serious illness, and limited access to the kind of coordinated support that makes a real difference.

Dignity Kare was created to close that gap. By delivering whole-person services through CalAIM, we connect people to housing support, care management, and the everyday resources they need to live safely and independently in their own communities.

Our Mission

Dignity Kare Corporation is dedicated to delivering compassionate, person-centered care to individuals and families navigating complex health and social needs. We are committed to ensuring that every person — regardless of background or circumstance — has access to quality care and the support they need to thrive.

Our Values

Dignity & Respect

We honor the inherent worth of every individual we serve.

Our Approach to Care

We believe care works best when it treats the whole person — not just a diagnosis. Our teams coordinate medical, behavioral, and social support around each member's goals, working closely with health plans, providers, and community organizations. For eligible members, our CalAIM services come at no cost, removing one more barrier between people and the care they deserve.

Leadership

Deepti Kurup, Founder & President

Deepti Kurup is a healthcare and business executive with more than two decades of leadership experience spanning community-based care, technology, and financial services. As the owner of an established home care agency serving seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities, she brings deep operational expertise and a hands-on understanding of what person-centered care requires.

She founded Dignity Kare to extend that mission through CalAIM — delivering whole-person, community-centered services to Medi-Cal members who need them most. Deepti holds an MBA from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and is driven by the belief that high-quality, dignified care should be accessible to all.
